Historicalplacenarnaul(History of Narnaul)


The Sate of Haryana (India) & District of Mahendragarh, Narnaul dates back to the Mahabharata Era as Nar Rashtra according to legend. Another legend puts it to be about 900 years old, where Lions roamed free in the jungles surrounding the town. These lions gave the town the nameNaharnaul (Fear of Lions). According to yet another legend, Raja Launkaran named it Narlaun after his wife.

    Narnaul people and it heritage had a glorious history.
    Berbal (akbar senapati) belong to here.

    Pandav came here (dhose hill) on the occession of somtee mavas (used to came in 400 year later) to take bath
